When you go crosscountryskiing, it’s important to dressinlayers. That means notwearing just one bigcoat. It’s best to put on severalthings together. For example, wear thermal underwear and a shirt, then a fleece jacket and topped off with a windbreaker or shell. You movearounda lot while cross country skiing. When you dressinlayers, you can takestuffoff to cooldown. Likewise, if you getcold, you can putsomethingon to warm up.
Kids can go fast or go slow
Crosscountryskiing can be a quietday in the forest or it can be an exciting day of competition. Lots of kids enjoyracing on cross country skis.
